John's journey in the produce industry began as a summer job, right after he completed his US Army basic training. Following a deployment to Iraq in 2003, he found himself naturally gravitating back to the produce industry. Throughout the years, John gained extensive experience by working in various roles at a regional produce distribution center, including Sales/Customer Service, night shift manager, general manager, and Director of Special Projects and Information Technology. Having been deeply involved in the industry, John witnessed the necessity for a comprehensive approach to produce software. He recognized the need for a program that was specifically tailored to the produce industry while utilizing the latest technology available. In 2012 John founded Anovys to address this unmet need. Beyond his professional endeavors, John cherishes spending quality time with his family, tending to his yard, and attending any live concerts that come to town.

Jeff's career in fresh foods began during his high school years, where he spent his summers and weekends working for a regional produce distribution company. His exceptional technological skills paved the way for a successful career as an IT Director for foodservice companies, accumulating almost two decades of invaluable experience before joining Anovys. Throughout his professional journey, Jeff has actively assisted foodservice companies with their diverse technology requirements, with a primary focus on software development. Jeff is a devoted husband and father to six children who keep him on his toes. In his spare time, he enjoys tinkering with computers and indulging in his passion for biking and boarding.

Shelley has built on years of software development experience and combined that with the core knowledge gained by growing up in a produce family to deliver applications that meet industry needs simply and efficiently. Prior to starting Anovys with her husband, John, Shelley worked as an application developer in a variety of industries ranging from defense contracting to healthcare EDI to workflow management. She earned her bachelor's degree in computer science from Washington & Lee University, and later took a break from software development to earn a culinary degree. When not keeping her husband and four children in line, Shelley enjoys cooking, running, and building her eclectic shoe collection.

Matt is a highly accomplished individual who graduated from UAB in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Education and History. After gaining valuable experience in the field of education, he decided to pursue his passion for technology and returned to college. Since 2016, Matt has been making waves in the tech industry by building cutting-edge web applications using Laravel and Vue. He is a true master of his craft and is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. When he's not busy writing code, Matt enjoys indulging in his hobbies, which include coffee, running, hiking, playing video games, and putting together puzzles.

Jeff is a highly skilled and accomplished software developer, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. With a wealth of experience in software development across a diverse range of industries, including transportation, software consulting, manufacturing, and 18 years in the produce industry, Jeff is a true expert in his field. He is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks, enabling him to deliver efficient and robust software solutions. In his free time, Jeff enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

"People suck. You won't like me, but I will make your sh** work. Now leave me alone." TJ has a knack for figuring things out, like a rain man of computers. TJ worked as THE key player at WWISP from the mid 90’s until he left to work with RMSG/Anovys in 2011. TJ is the tech guru every computer company wished they had. He also likes to hike.

Abbey started in the produce business as a child, going to work with her dad in the “good old days" of the business. While finishing her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Health Sciences she jumped into the family business with both feet as a customer service specialist and then quickly moving into Director of Sales and Administration of the FreshCuts division of a national produce company. Almost 20 years later she is still enjoying the business, mostly working as a User Interface Expert, having amassed experience with many different produce operating systems over the years. Work and people are her passion and her mini dachshund (and husband) are her joy!

Greg has 26 years of experience in customer service, most of which have been in Information Technology across multiple industries. Priding himself on delivering quality client care and assistance, he possesses a strong knowledge and understanding of many platforms and technologies. He's a devoted husband and father of 5 who enjoys hiking and building memories with his wife and kids.

Derek has had a remarkable technology career spanning four decades. He began by building and designing automation systems for companies such as Sun Micro, ACDelco, Motorola, and AT&T. Derek even ventured into entrepreneurship, owning his own technology company. Later, he transitioned to a role at a local healthcare system, where he oversaw support staff and managed the data center. Eventually, Derek moved on to work for Siemens, specializing in managed services. In pursuit of a better work-life balance and more quality time with his wife and two daughters, Derek sought out a small managed service company, which led him to join Anovys.
